The end is close. The preparation and gluing of the bridge is one of the most tricky operation during the guitar making.
The location is crucial of course, but the preparation before gluing requires great care when the table is cedar and having French polish finish. The tender surface is very easy to scratch.
For my classical instruments in general, I layout the strings having a slightly asymmetrical off center, a 0.5mm favoring the 1st string, measured at the top nut and the 12th fret.
